



TR 03: 2 Days Jungle trek in the Nam Ha NPA (Nalan Trail)



This trail is the best seller for trekking in the protected area where there are traditional homestays for visitors from around the world. This is an original trail for the trek since 2001 – Nalan community has received the ASEAN Tourism Award for Community-based Tourism Development. During the trip, you have opportunities to see beautiful nature through evergreen forests and reforests until getting to Nalan Village.
Day 1: Adventure trek to Khmu ethnic village in the Nam Ha area (6 Hours)
Begin at 9:00 at the company and go to the local morning market to purchase food and water for the trek. The, the Tuk-Tuk will bring the tour group to the trekking trail – Chaluensouk village. Start trekking from there into the protected area, the first section will walk through cultivated land before getting to the national park. Then start to hike in the mountains and get to the deep jungle of the protected area. On the trip, you will walk through streams, valleys, and evergreen forests – there are opportunities to hear the songs of birds, see wildlife footprints, and traditional medicine (Herbal plants). The team will take a few hours to reach the lunch site, your tour guide will help you to prepare and cook Lao food for a picnic lunch. After lunch, continue walking until arriving at Nalan village (Khmu tribe). When arriving there, check in at a homestay and take a bath (you can either take a bath on the Nam Ha River or Bathroom in the homestay).
Day 2: Trek to Doiluckham area (6 Hours)
After breakfast, before trekking the tour guides will bring to play games (Crossbow shooting) and watch khmu women pound the rice in the mortar – this is the traditional life of Khmu people for how they live without a modern machine. After finishing activities, the tour group continues hiking in the protected area. Your second day is a challenging trek that you will hike on steep mounts for about a half-hour and then walk around valleys before stopping for lunch. After lunch, go downward to the end trail at Doyluckkham area. Tuk-Tuk is there to pick you up to the center of town.

TR 04: 2 Days Akha Authentic Experience and Jungle Explore



This is an exciting choice, an amazing trek through a beautiful jungle with great views, and enchanting nature under the canopies of old-growth trees in Nam Ha NPA. Visit the remote countryside of Akha ethnic to learn about their lifestyle, culture, and tradition.
Day 1: Ban Lakkham Mai-Ban Nam Lueng (6 Hopurs)
Approximately 25 km away from Luang Namtha town. From here the trekking trail starts from Ban Lakkham Mai the off road for 20 minutes’ walk through the cultivation land. The path offers great views as it levels out along a ridge before re-entering the forest. The forests here are much older having long been a major part of the natural history of the area you are hiking up to the peak. A tasty Lao-style picnic lunch is enjoyed in the cool upland forest. After lunch we continue the hike for 2-3 hours, as the trail courses beneath the canopies of the impressive old-growth trees, so we will be arriving at the village before the sun sets. After checking in at your homestay, you have time to walk around the village and learn about their lifestyle, culture, and tradition.
Day 2: Ban Nam Lueng-Ban Kiew Lom (5-6 Hours)
After breakfast, the hike follows the local path and through the open cultivated areas of the Akha minority group. From here trek will bring you into the real jungle, sometimes we may cross the stream under the canopy of high trees, and the trail is more challenging, but it is also a more and more beautiful forest, and landscape. We will stop sometimes for a local picnic lunch with traditional Akha food, accompanied by the music of bird songs and chirping cicadas, and learn about plants and wildlife, … After lunch, we walk following the stream until arriving the Hmong village, which the Tuk-Tuk will be waiting to pick us back to the office.

TR05: 2 Days Trek to visit Lanten tribe in Nam Ha site (Nam Koy village)



The highlights are about adventuring nature in the Nam Ha National Park and Visiting Lanten Ethnic (Ill Mien Group). You have opportunitites to learn Lanten culture, see their handicrafts products, and stay at a homestay.
Day 1: Trek to Lanten minority through Nam Ha area (6-7 Hours)
Depart at 9:00 to the local morning market to buy food and water. Then go to the Nam Lue Village (Lanten Ethnic), we will take about 20-30 minutes to sightseeing in this village to see Lanten livelihood. Next, the guide will let you walk through villagers’ cultivated areas. When you reach a viewpoint, you will see a beautiful landscape of a valley. Then, walk continuously to the lunch site, your tour guide will prepare and cook Lao food for you. After lunch, trek through the heart of the jungle to see nature, wildlife footprint, traditional medicine (herbal plants), and edible plants – this will be explained by tour guides. When arriving at Namkoy village, you will see the primitive life of Lanten tribe who live in the middle of Nam Ha NPA, they still keep their unique culture particularly the style of house, clothing, and language. In addition, you have an opportunity to see bamboo paper making, indigo cotton dyeing, and handmade handicrafts (embroidery products) – this you can buy for souvenirs. Before dinner, the certificated tour guide will recommend about place to take a bath and where to stay. Your tour guide will help you cook dinner and explain Lanten culture to you.
Day 2: Experience hiking through the deciduous forest (6 hours)
After breakfast and have a cup of coffee, say goodbye to the host family (owner of a homestay). Then, continues visiting another village (Khmu tribe) next to this village – for this, khmu ethnic has a different culture and lifestyle if compared to Lanten, for example, Lanten’s house is settled on the floor and there is only one floor but Khmu has two floors. When arriving there, the group will take about minutes for sightseeing around the village. After that walk go on through the secondary deciduous forest, bamboo forest, and rainforest before reaching the final stop. Tul-Tul will be there to pick you up at the town center.

TR 06: 2 Days Discover Akha Culture at Nam Lai Village (Na Ha Area)



The highlight of this program is to discover the authentic life Akha people in the National Protected Area. In addition, bring yourself to a challenge in the deep forest to explore real nature. It is suitable for people who like soft trekking.
Day 1: Hike to Akha Village (5-6 Hours)
Assemble at the office at 8:30 for a brief orientation. At 9:00 am the Tuk-Tuk will bring you to the morning market to buy food and drink. After visiting the local market, the team will go on the trekking trail. When arriving there, start hiking to Nam Lai village, the trail passes cultivated land and primary forest. You have an opportunity to see Akha’s agriculture production. Walk for a while and stop for lunch in the forest, your certificated tour guide will help you prepare food and a place for a picnic lunch. After lunch, continue trekking to the village. When arriving there, go sightseeing around the village, cook with the host family, eat local food, test Akha alcohol, and try Akha massage – the AKha women are very proficient in traditional massage. Then, go to bed around 9:00 pm.
Day 2: Nature Exploring (6 Hours)
After breakfast, have a cup of coffee and depart for trekking at 9:00 am. Say goodbye to the host villager and go to see primary school, teach basic English to kids (if the school is opened). Thereafter, walk continuously through the villager’s farm, garden, and waterfall. Then move from a waterfall to the mountains and stop for lunch. After lunch, walk downward to the stream, this area has beautiful nature and you will have a chance to hear the songs of birds along the river before reaching the end of the trail. Tul-Tuk will be waiting for the tour group to come back the town.

TR 07: 2 Days Visiting authentic life of Hmong ethnic (Samyod Mai village)



This program is a traditional trail where to look for a Hmong tribe living in a remote area (on the mountain) who have had their domicile in Luang Namtha for many years. Visitors also have a great chance to touch the secondary forest in the provincial protected area.
Day 1: Experience trekking to a Hmong village ( 7 Hours)
Start at 9:00 am, and go to the morning market to purchase food and drink. After visiting the local market, the Tuk-Tuk will bring the team to the trekking trail. When arriving there, hike in the mountains to the Hmong village (Samyord Mai), during the trip you will walk through cultivated land and rainforest before getting to the village. Stop for lunch in the Jungle around noon, then continue trekking on the trail to visit the Hmong tribe. When arriving there, check in with a host family, take a bath, cook with family, have dinner, try Lao Whisky, and learn about Hmong culture – there is an opportunity to see Hmong traditional clothes; for this please inform the tour guide, he/she will ask for the host family to show you. Then, go to bed around 9: PM.
Day 2: Challenge yourself to the Nature( 6-7 Hours)
Have breakfast at 8:00 am and have a cup of coffee. Thereafter, visit the local primary school in the village (Teach basic English to kids if the school opens – your tour guide will ask for permission from the teacher). Then ongoing to trek in the heart of the jungle to see the nature and biodiversity on the trail. Your second day is a quiet challenge for all hikers, there is an opportunity to see animal traps on the hunter trails until arriving at the final destination. The Tuk-Tuk will wait for you at the end of the final stop to return to town.

TR 08: 2 Days trek on hunter camping



This trail is the most challenging for trekkers. The highlight is to learn how to survive in the forest, make a camp (by banana leaves or bamboo), make a fire, and cook in the deep forest.
Day 1: Camping experience in the jungle (6-7 Hours)
Meet the company at 8:45 to have a short orientation before trekking. Strat at 9:00 am go to the handicrafts center or morning market. After that ride the Tuk-Tuk to the trekking trail (Nam Ha Village). When you get there, start trekking uphill in the protected area, your professional tour guide will explain the trails and nature surrounding you during your trip. The tour guide will let you see wildlife footprints, and birds, and teach you traditional medicine (herbal plants). This route is covered by evergreen forest and biodiversity, when the team arrives at the campsite, the tour guide will help you to prepare materials for making your camp, teach you how to look for food in the jungle, and cook in the forest for your dinner. Then, enjoying dinner and chatting together before going to camp.
Day 2: Cultural exploration and hunter-trail hiking in the Nam Ha area (8 Hours)
The second day is a long trail trek, after breakfast the tour group will walk through the rice fields of villagers, streams, and cultivated land to visit Khmu village (Nalan Nuea village) – for this, do sightseeing in the village and then move to the protected area to learn about nature in the Nam Ha NPA. The trial is moderate to hard level; therefore, it is a great chance to challenge yourself through muli-experiences before reaching the end of the trekking trail (Doyluckham Area). The Tuk-Tuk will be there to pick you up at the town center.
